Ingredients for Filling:
Onion :1 (sliced)
Chilly or pepper powder:1 teaspoon
Ginger :½ teaspoon (minced)
Garlic :½ teaspoon
Bread slice :1
Milk: 2. Tbsp.
Method:
Fry all in 1 tsp of oil and add milk and mix well to form a filling.
Ingredients for Potato Pastry:
Flour :1cup
Boiled and mashed potatoes :1 cup
Butter :3 Tbsp.
Baking powder:½ teaspoon
Grated Cheese :3 Tbsp.
Salt and Pepper to taste
Enough beaten egg to bind
Method:
Mash the potatoes while hot.
Sift flour with baking powder, rubbing the butter.
Mix well with the mashed potatoes with enough beaten egg to make a stiff dough.
Roll and spread the filling and roll again.
Cut into ½ inch rounds.
Bake at 200 degrees C for about 15 minutes or deep fry.
If baking just before taking out brush with egg white.
