AMERICAN CHOPSE

Ingredients:

Cabbage : 200gms.
Beans : 50 gms
Onions : 2
Carrot : 1
Oil : 4 Tbs.
Salt : To Taste
Boiled Noodles : 1 tea cup
Fried Noodles : 2 tea cups

Ingredients For Sauce:

Brown Vinegar : 1/2 cup
Sugar : 1/2 cup
Water : 1 Cup
Flour : 2 Tbs.
Soya Sauce : 1 Tbs.
Tomato ketchup : 4 Tbs.
Boiled Chicken or prawns (optional) : A few peices

Method:

Slice the onions cut all the vegetables thin and long.

Place all the ingredients for the sauce in a vessel mix well, boil and cook, and stir till thick.

Heat oil add the vegetables and cook over a high flame for 3 or 4 minutes.

Add the prepared sauce. Add 1-2 teaspoons of chillie sauce, salt and cook for 1-2 minutes.

Cook noodles in boiling water for 3 minutes and drain. Add this to the prepared sauce.

Remove add ½ the fried noodles mix well, serve hot topped with the rest of the fried noodles.

FOR FRIED NOODLES:

Deep fry 2 cups of noodles little by little in hot oil.
