FISH PEARS

Ingredients:

Fish        : 200 gms.
Butter     : 1 Tablespoon
Tomatoes : 2
Ginger     : 1 inch
Onions   : 2
Flour      : 1 tablespoon
Egg        : 1
Lime juice : 1 teaspoon
Salt      : to taste
Oil       : for frying
Pepper powder : 1 teaspoon
Bread Crumbs : for coating

Method:

Boil the fish with a little salt and vinegar and flake the fish.

Mince the onions and ginger fine.

Blanch the tomatoes and chop it fine.

Heat the butter (1 tablespoon) in a frying pan, fry the onions, ginger and add the pepper powder.

Add the tomato pulp and fry till dry.

Add the fish, flour enough salt and lime juice.

Stir well when thick take it out of the flame make small balls and form into pear shapes.

Coat with beaten egg and roll in bread crumbs.

Deep fry or bake for 10 minutes till golden brown.

Arrange with lime twist and onion rings.

Serve with tomato ketchup.
