SWISS ROLL

Ingredients:

Eggs : 3
Flour : 1 cup
Sugar : 1 cup
Water : 4 table spoons
Vinegar : 1 teaspoon
Baking powder : ½ teaspoon
Salt : 1 pinch

Method:

Line and prepare a rectangle baking tray.

Add water to the sugar,

Seive the flour with baking powder.

Beat the eggs together till stiff.

Melt the sugar over the flame and when it is completely dissolved add it to the beaten eggs in a thin stream beating the whole time.

When cool fold in the flour add the vinegar and pour into the baking dish and bake at 200 C for about 10 minutes.

Remove turn on to a napkin sprinkled with sugar roll immediately.

When slightly cool, open spread jam all over roll up again cut into 1/2 inch thick rounds and serve.
